Coalition for the Bain Saint-Michel
On April 7, the RAIQ issued a declaration of intentions on behalf of a dozen organizations that have united with the goal of preserving the architectural, historical and cultural heritage of the Bain Saint-Michel, situated at 5300 Saint-Dominique in Montreal. The Coalition is actively committed to insuring that interdisciplinary artists have access to a dedicated venue that reflects their needs and responds to the multiple facets of these artists' varied practices.
A fabulous new website (www.coalitionbainsaintmichel.org) is now online, and features, among other things, the declaration of intentions, the list and contact details for the founding members of the Coalition, the history of the building, etc. We plan to keep developing the site by adding a photo gallery of events, performances, interventions, installations, etc., that have taken place in the BAIN. If you would like to contribute by sharing your photos, please send them to Pascal Boucher direction [at] agencetopo [dot] qc [dot] ca (maximum of 2 photos per performance). Thanks in advance!
A petition to support the Coalition will be up online shortly. We hope to get your signatures and support for this project!
