The Laboratory of Insurrectionary Imagination is a network of culturally and politically engaged artists and activists.

Live art, installation and performance can inspire audiences and attract supporters across contemporary art practices and disciplines. These pieces by established writers on the work of seven artists working in the field throw light on live art's popularity and practice.
