Julian Jason Haladyn
Julian Jason Haladyn is an artist, writer, curator and teacher who lives with his partner and collaborator Miriam Jordan in London, Ontario. He received his MFA in Interdisciplinary Art at Goddard College and an MA in Theory, Culture, and Politics at Trent University; Julian is presently pursuing a PhD in Theory and Criticism at The University of Western Ontario. His solo and collaborative art projects have been exhibited nationally and internationally at such galleries as Modern Fuel, Ottawa Art Gallery, Art Gallery of Peterborough, and Cho-houng Gallery (South Korea). Julian’s solo and collaborative critical writing has appeared in a number of prominent cultural publications, including Drain, Parachute, C Magazine, On Site Review, Broken Pencil, The Burlington Magazine, as well as several chapters in books. Julian’s interdisciplinary practice focuses on dialogic relationships connected to social and personal issues of space, discourse, and memory.
