Methinks Presents

Founded in 2003, Methinks Presents is an open-structure social art arena.

We exist to catalyze community; to support the socio-professional development of emergent cultural producers; to challenge the ways in which culture is made, perceived, supported and experienced, in Toronto and beyond; and to make innovative moves at the confluence of art and everyday life.

We provide dynamic opportunities for individuals, groups and spaces to participate in exhibitions, performances, immersive fictions, urban adventures, workshops and other situations and events that galvanize sociability, collaboration, strategic risk-taking, experimentation and fun.

In 2004 we established a multi-use art space called Project 165, in Toronto's Kensington Market, which comprises artist work studios, a modest kitchen and common table, a little public library and a storefront “gallery”.
