Miriam Jordan
Miriam Jordan is a Native artist, writer, curator and teacher who lives with her partner and collaborator Julian Haladyn in London, Ontario. She received her MFA in Interdisciplinary Art at Goddard Collegeand is presently pursuing a PhD in Art and Visual Culture at The University of Western Ontario. Her solo and collaborative art projects have been exhibited nationally and internationally at such galleries as Modern Fuel, Ottawa Art Gallery, Art Gallery of Peterborough, and The Woodland Cultural Centre. Miriam’s solo and collaborative critical writing has appeared in a number of prominent cultural publications, including Topia, Parachute, C Magazine, On Site Review, Broken Pencil, as well as several chapters in books. Miriam’s interdisciplinary practice dialogically investigates issues of personal and cultural histories, discourses, and memories.
