As a multi-national artist inhabiting and inhabited by several distinct cultural worlds, and with a background in both architecture and art history, I am always seeking to place my work at the intersection of several disciplines, and blur the boundaries between clearly delineated worlds; The two dimensional and the spatial, text and image, orient and occident, the voyeur and the subject of voyeurism. I want to arrive at a place that straddles both while remaining outside of them. Interdisciplinarity for me is a practice that lies at the intersection of more than one discipline, opening up the uncharted territories that lies in between. It is not any different than crossing from one world or culture to another, the hybrid world fused form the confluence originates from all of them, and belongs to non. The forms of expression I am working with are print media ( the photo image most frequently), installation, performance and urban walks. Currently based in Montreal, until another destiny comes knocking on my door.
