Il est surprenant de voir à quel point nos dirigeants prennent à la légère certaines problématiques qui accablent directement un grand nombre d’acteurs du milieu culturel et artistique de montréal.
Suite au dévoilement des résultats de l’étude de Hill Strategies (Cartographie des artistes et des travailleurs culturels dans les grandes villes du Canada), La Presse publiait mercredi 10 février dernier, un court article intitulé « Le Plateau s’érode : les artistes migrent ».

Pour une 17e année d’audace, le Studio 303 présente le Festival Edgy Women avec deux semaines d’hyperactivité artistique. Du 17 au 20 mars, Edgy Women fera pour la première fois escale entre les murs du Théâtre MainLine, puis du 24 au 28 mars, l’indocile programmation se déplacera jusqu’à Tangente ou se déroulera la deuxième semaine du festival.

WCCC 2010 supports the AFRI’K! Festival,
helping some Winnipeggers feel right at home
For the growing African-Canadian population in Winnipeg, there is something to celebrate. Now in its second year, the AFRI’K! Festival is presented by The Alliance Française du Manitoba in partnership with the Collège Universitaire de Saint-Boniface. This year it is also being supported by the Winnipeg Cultural Capital of Canada 2010 (WCCC 2010) through the ARTS FOR ALL program.
